Torque rating is dependent on air pressure applied. Brake torque is directly proportional to the air pressure applied. Maximum allowable air pressure is 130 psi (9 bar) for airtube version and 150 psi (10.3 bar) for piston version.

The thermal ratings listed require a water flow of one gallon of water for every 10 hp (one liter for every 2 kWs).
The thermal ratings listed are based upon a 50°F (28°C) temperature rise between the inlet and outlet.
The outlet water temperature should not exceed 150°F (65°C).
Maximum water jacket inlet pressure is 45 psi (3.1 bar) for the 18"/24" and 40psi (2.8 bar) for the 36".
Use of ethylene glycol (max. 50%) mixture will require increased flow rates. Contact WPT engineering for details.
