WPT Power, a manufacturer of power transmission products such as industrial clutches, brakes, power take-offs, hydraulic pump drives, and winches, was named one of the Best Places to Work in Texas in 2024 by the Best Companies Group. Best Places to Work History
Originally created in 2005, this awards program was a joint project with Texas Monthly, the Texas Association of Business (TAB), and Texas SHRM and is now reorganized under the sole leadership of the Best Companies Group. This recognition is the first year in this newer format. WPT is proud to have been identified as one of the top workplaces in Texas in the preceding years.

Best Places Work Assessment
This statewide survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize, and honor Texas’s best places of employment, benefiting the state’s economy, workforce, and businesses. Companies are evaluated on their workplace policies, systems, philosophies, practices, and demographics. Relying significantly on detailed employee surveys is also a key factor in measuring employee experience. The combined scores determine the top companies and final rankings. Best Companies Group manages Texas’s overall registration and survey process, analyzes the data, and uses its expertise to determine the final rankings.
