Such was the case when we were approached by a crane manufacturer in the market for a specific style of hoist for a small marine application. This OEM made several inquiries throughout the industry for special features such as custom coating and precision braking capabilities. No other winch and hoist manufacturer was either willing or capable of delivering these features in the lifting range required.
