The customer’s concerns stemmed from the time spent installing a complex drive system in their portable rock crushing plant. The power take-off had to be integrated into the machine’s hydraulic system, fit in the same footprint, and provide easier maintenance than the challenges they were currently experiencing.
WPT addressed these concerns with our 500 PSI hydraulically actuated Type 2 PTO and Python Hydraulic Clutch Control. The system reads the engine’s RPM and efficiently engages the PTO, providing smooth starts and reducing stalling. Our solution also simplifies maintenance and eliminates the need for external cooling.
By closely collaborating with the customer’s team, WPT resolved several key challenges for the impact crusher plant. Our product solutions improved installation efficiency, reduced maintenance requirements, and increased equipment longevity, meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
