Hydraulic PTO Performance

Extended Service Life: Engineered to lessen torsional stress on the crankshaft, reducing component wear and extending service intervals. This leads to fewer part replacements and lower maintenance requirements throughout the equipment’s lifespan.
Increased Operational Uptime: The durable bearing actuation assembly extends the lubrication interval from 20 to 100 hours. WPT has re-engineered the main shaft bearing design with a pair of high-capacity spherical roller bearings. This bearing design supports greater radial and axial loads, allowing the pilot bearing to be eliminated, removing one less wear point, and therefore, no load is transferred to the flywheel and crankshaft. This upgrade boosts sideload capacity by up to 70% under demanding operating conditions.
Simplified Installation: WPT provides a full selection of direct-fit replacement PTO components, including individual parts, pre-assembled modules, and complete PTO units. Pilotless® Over-the-Shaft PTO
The Pilotless® Over-the-Shaft (OTS) PTO is designed for the most demanding diesel engine applications, eliminating the pilot bearing while increasing side load capacity. With either radial pneumatic or hydraulic actuation, it supports both in-line and sideload applications for maximum versatility. It is compatible with the HPU hydraulic starting option mentioned later in this article.
Type 1 PTO
The Type 1 PTO is one of the most rugged, highest-capacity products available today. With the sheave mounted between the straddle bearing arrangement, these power take-offs are designed to attain the maximum potential of their massive spherical roller bearings.
